The best way to earn coin is to continually do tricks:
spins (space bar and right or left arrow) and flips (back arrow and space bar)
When you start to see a turn sign in the distance it is best if you stop doing tricks and get ready to turn, when you turn press the down arrow and the left or right arrow (depending on which way you are turning) doing this gets you more coins then just tuning, however if you do a trick while the yellow arrows are up and you end just before a turn you may not be able to do this so it is best if you just turn here.
